Halloween

This year for Halloween, we were visited by a couple of super heroes. The boys had their power ranger costumes picked out for two months. I actually tried talking them into doing something a little more fun, but their minds were made up so we went with it.
On Halloween, we went down to my sister's house in Spring City to have a birthday party for my nephew and let the cousins trick-or-treat together. We didn't take any pictures at the Trunk-or -Treat because the weather was horrible. It decided to rain, lightening and hail on us all at the same time. It was all we could do just to get in and get out. Luckily, I took some pictures of the kids in their costumes at Gardner Village. Aren't they cute!

Bailey On The Move

Bailey started crawling and now she is all over the place. When she first started moving she could only go backwards, but within a day she figured out how to go forward and boy is she fast. She loves to invade the boys while they are playing with their toys. Most of the time they let her crawl all over them, but sometimes they get annoyed. Bailey loves to put everything and anything in her mouth. We now have to make sure the floor is vaccumed at all times and the boys can only play with their legos on the table or up in their room since they seem to mutliply and everytime we turn aroun there is another lego hiding around the corner. Bailey is a happy baby and loves to watch the boys. They can always make her giggle and laugh.

No Training Wheels for Landon

Landon has graduated from training wheels to riding his bike by himself. About a week ago Landon learned that his cousin who is also 4 started riding his bike without training wheels. So that night when Nate got home from work Landon asked him to take his training wheels off. I honestly didn't think Landon was going to be able to ride his bike, but I was wrong. It only took a couple of tries and off he went. He uses his feet to get going fast then starts pedaling. Like his brother he is already trying to do tricks and pop-a-wheelies. It makes me so nervous seeing my little boys being so dangerous. The other day, McCoy started standing up on his seat while riding his bike. He tells me he wants to someday do motocross. That would be a big fat NO WAY.

Happy Birthday Landon!

My little Land-o is 4 years old. He has been asking daily how much longer till his birthday for several months now. When he was mad at someone, he would tell them that they weren't invited to his birthday party. Nate and I had been invited then uninvited about a dozen times. We always had a good laugh about it. When he woke up in the morning, the first thing he said was "No more days til my birthday". He was so excited! Landon said he wanted a swimming party so we had pizza, cake and presents on the lawn outside the pool and then went swimming after. Landon has adjusted well to having a little sister and just recently mastered riding his bike without training wheels. He wants to be just like his big brother and usually is following McCoy around. They are best frenemies. Landon is such a sweetheart. He tends to be really shy around people until he gets to know them and he can also be so darn stubborn sometimes. We love Landon so much and couldn't imagine our life without him.
Happy Birthday!

First day of school

McCoy was "kind of" excited to start kindergarten. He wasn't looking forward to going to school EVERY day, but was excited that his buddy, Jordan, was going to be in his class.
Landon has been looking forward to starting preschool for a LONG time. He couldn't wait to go to Miss Kathryn's class, but started out a little shy the first day.

Orangeville Days 2010

We went down to my dad's house during Orangeville Days and had lots of FUN. I love small town celebrations. Our festivities included a lamb fry, pig chase, parade, slip n' slide and picnic at the park. Lots of fun!

Small town parades are the best. The boys loaded up with bags of candy.

July Adventures

Nate had to go away for a week long scout camp last week and the last thing I wanted to do was stay home alone with the kids the entire time so we planned out our week with lots of stuff to do to pass the time quickly. The first two days were spent up in the canyon with Nate's family. I'm not sure what we were thinking going up there with 1 grandma, 4 moms, 10 children, 4 young infants and NO husbands. We had a couple of technical difficulties with the RV, but did well for ourselves for the most part. We even had two big bull moose come wandering through our camp. All of the kids had lots of fun hanging out and hopefully built great memories together. Unfortunately, I didn't take a single picture and regret that now.
.
The next part of the week was spent down in Spring City at my sisters house. We love hanging out with Aunt Kamey and her children. We did lots of stuff together and the kids had a lot of fun. We were so sad when it was time to come home, but happy to finally see daddy since we missed him sooo much. I thought it was cute when Landon informed me that he wanted to move in with Aunt Kamey. Here are a few pictures that I took down there.

McCoy and Landon's first experience at a drive-in movie. They definitely had fun sitting in the back of Uncle Fletcher's truck to watch Toy Story 3
.
Apparently, we didn't need to pay to get into a big swimming pool. They swam for hours in this little pool at Kamey's house and had just as much fun.
